It doesn't have the intelligent films of the Cedar Lee. It doesn't have the artistic flair of the Cinematheque. Still, this is the place for Northeast Ohio movie lovers, because management gets it. They get that the movie should always be perfectly framed and in focus. They get that a lobby should be opulent, reminding us of the days when theaters were the only places to see moving pictures. They get that there should be a shitload of previews before a show, because this is what gets nerds off. Valley View is our guilty pleasure. It's where we go for summer blockbusters and "popcorn movies." It's where we take the kids. Because they get it.
