Best Music Venue

House of Blues

House of BluesEven though this 1,200-capacity club is part of a national chain, that's no reason to steer clear — the HOB is a strong anchor in the Cleveland music landscape. The intimate space has great sightlines — even the seats in the balcony give you a good view of the stage — and whether you want to get in with the crowd in front of the stage or relax in a seat far away from the pit, the House of Blues caters to every brand of concertgoer. The club regularly brings in an eclectic mix of hip-hop, classic rock, metal and indie rock, and it remains one of the best places to catch national acts. The smaller Cambridge Room offers a more intimate space for up-and-coming artists and has the intimacy of your living room, but with a better booze selection. The fancy Foundation Room provides a great spot for meet-and-greets before and after the concerts, as well as a venue for special events.
