Best Off-Season Use for Jacobs Field

The World Series of Wine

It's November in Cleveland. The boys of summer are gone, the city is cold and gray, and the wind off the lake is bitter. What could bring the Jake back to life at this time of year? A major-league wine tasting, held at the Terrace Club on November 2-3, is just the ticket. Heinen's and WVIZ sponsor the event, and the starting lineup includes nearly 400 wines from more than 150 wineries. You can excuse the bacchanalian indulgence, because all ticket purchases benefit public television station WVIZ, and you're simply doing your part to support the arts.
