Last October, Christian Taylor took over an anemic record shop and revamped it into a vinylphile's nirvana. Walk through the front door, and groove to the latest vinyl releases from the Counting Crows to Jimmy Eat World. In the back, Taylor's put the older records on sale: 50 cents for a 45, 75 cents for an LP. With 70 percent of its inventory in vinyl, the store also carries locally recorded discs and Japanese imports. Heck, it's worth a visit just to see the glass-encased Beatles memorabilia.
