But most likely, it's chef-owner Karen Small's seasonal, personal, and progressive cuisine, built from pristine ingredients and constructed in layer upon layer of flavor, that gives this Ohio City bistro a big-city sensibility. When the urge hits to dine in a chi-chi Village hot spot, it's nice to know that Flying Fig is just a short car ride away.
