Bier Here

When: Fri., Aug. 30, 5 p.m. 2013
Price: $8-$25
The 9th annual Cleveland Labor Day Oktoberfest at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea is not only the largest outdoor festival in Ohio, but it's also the most anticipated. The German beer starts to flow tonight at 5 and the festival continues through Monday at 9 p.m. The smell and sights of some of the best authentic German food this side of Hamburg are only rivaled by the German dancers and musical acts in the traditional music tent. The highlight of the festival is the Bier Garden with all of northeast Ohio's best micro-breweries competing for the title of Best Oktoberfest. The Bier Garden will also feature live music throughout the holiday weekend with acts like Hotel California and Disco Inferno. Daily general admission is $8 while a four-day VIP pass is $25 which includes a Cleveland Oktoberfest bier stein. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or at clevelandoktoberfest.com. (Beudert)
