Sparked by the equality movement of the same name and inspired by true events, Free The Nipple is a film about a group of fearless women who look to decriminalize nudity (specifically, the baring of the female breast) in the U.S. They plan on doing so by taking their tops off in the streets of New York to protest. Director Lina Esco made the film to draw public attention to gender equality and the repression of sexuality. The film screens tonight at 8:45 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Tickets are $9. (Martin Harp)
