After five number one hits on the country charts and a tour with Miranda Lambert at the beginning of this year, country crooner Chris Young is now touring on his own. Since his first self-titled album in 2006, Young has been a hit with country music fans. His most recent album, 2011’s Neon, featured two chart-topping songs in “Tomorrow” and “You.” With a deep voice and style similar to Josh Turner, Young writes songs that are relatable and catchy. In “You,” he describes how no one understands him except the girl he loves. It’s a happy love song that he delivers in a truly genuine manner. But his music isn’t all wide-eyed and lovey-dovey. In “Tomorrow,” he expresses how hard the end of a relationship can be. (Abbey Christopher)
