Cornhole V2

The popular bar game gets a digital makeover.

Tonight’s Bags Tournament at Thirst & 10 upgrades traditional cornhole contests for the video game era. It’s played pretty much like its old-school counterpart. But instead of tossing beanbags at a hole-filled target, contestants maneuver a lever that hurls virtual bags into virtual openings. Think Golden Tee without the golf. The first player to score 21 points pockets the ante of entry fees. “I went to a Cincinnati-Browns game, and they were playing it at a tailgate party,” recalls bar owner Roger Norris. “Then I was at a birthday party, and we couldn’t get the host away from the game.”
