Crash Landing

When: Thu., Nov. 14 2013
Working with homeless men recovering from addictions and mental health challenges to theatre, Cleveland Public Theatre and the YMCA's Y-Haven project have collaborated to create an evening of intensly personal and moving theatre. Under the guidance of CPT artists, the men of Y-Haven write and perform their own play based on their own personal experiences. This year's play, A Life Without, explores the aftermath of a tragic car crash. After the play is over, stick around for a talk-back session with the performers. The performance is free (there's a $5 suggested donation) and takes place tonight and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. at Cleveland Public Theatre. On Saturday at 6:30, there's a special benefit performance with dinner and a silent auction. Tickets for the benefit cost $75 and can be purchased by calling Chip Joseph at 216-431-2018 or visiting yhaven.org/benefit. (Patrick Stoops)
