White Spider @ Grovewood Tavern

Drink of the Week

White Spider @ Grovewood Tavern

Here's an arachnid even Little Miss Muffet could love: the White Spider cocktail at the groovy Grovewood Tavern. Silken strands of Bombay Dry Gin, Cointreau, simple syrup, and freshly squeezed lemon juice — woven together in a long-legged martini glass — result in a drink that goes down like gossamer but packs an iron punch. "Grown-up lemonade" is what Grovewood's owner Beth Davis-Noragon calls the $10 cocktail. We call it the cure for what bugs ya. The Grovewood Tavern & Wine Bar is at 17105 Grovewood Ave. in Cleveland; find out more at 216-531-4900 or at grovewoodtavern.com.
