Euclid Beach Park was Northeast Ohio's original "Roller Coast."
Euclid Beach Park opened in 1895.
Some of the rides were really intense.
Others were more laid-back.
Even from the sky, the park looked amazing.
There was even an arcade. And, look: There was no hand-wringing over this shooting game.
Euclid Beach Park postcards were popular and often sent to relatives not fortunate enough to know the joys of Cleveland.
Rickety wooden roller coasters made your chest hairs curl. There was no avoiding these tests of strength and mental fortitude in those days.
