Dr. Myron S. Cohen, Director of the Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases, will offer a unique perspective on the evolution of sexually transmitted diseases. A small number of microbes have adapted to depend on different reproductive behaviors to spread from one host to another. Dr. Cohen will discuss the role that microorganisms play and the methods deployed to reduce the spread of disease. This presentation is part of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Explorer Series.
