Klezmer music is -- dare we say it? -- hot again. With the Klezmatics’ Woody Guthrie tribute and Golem’s brand of punk klezmer, traditional Jewish folk music is suddenly the buzzworthy sound of 2006. At tonight’s Dueling Fiddles: Klezmer Country concert, folks can get a taste of the fiddle-zipping tunes that have been around for 600 years. Steven Greenman and Jim Kelley lead a program that combines both klezmer and Appalachian ditties, with help from the Roots of American Music ensemble.
