Associate Professor of Cinema Studios and New Media at Oberlin College, filmmaker Rian Brown will answer questions after tonight's screening of short films she's made over the past 17 years. She works within many different genres — experimental, autobiography, documentary, video installation — while exploring themes such as motherhood, identity and landscape. She even shot one film when she was eight months pregnant. The screening takes place tonight at 7 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
