From Burning Rivers to Living Rivers: Challenges and Opportunities for Global Water Sustainability is the first offering in Lake Erie Nature & Science Center's new programs just for adults, Second Nature: A Series for Lifelong Learners. The Great Lakes and the Cuyahoga River offer evidence that sustained efforts can reverse decades of degredation of freshwater systems. Join Dr. Jeff Opperman, Senior Freshwater Specialist from the Nature Conservancy's Global Freshwater Program, as he describes different facets of the global water crisis and shares some emerging solutions for a more balanced use of this most-precious resource.
