A thousand or so fans worked their way through hundreds of pitchers of sangria at last month’s Jazz on the Vine, a monthly summer concert series at Debonne Vineyards in Madison. Apparently the drink goes particularly well with the bands that play at the events. Today, local jazz band Forecast will set up stage on the winery’s rolling hills, where you’ll find lots more than just wine and sangria. Grab a beer from the Cellar Rats micro-brewery, an appetizer or sandwich from Debonne’s Grill, and a long look at the beautiful property. “The view is really incredible,” says manager Cora Rozo. The winery opens at 1 p.m. and the music plays from 2 to 6 p.m. Admission is free; parking is $4. Learn more at the website.
