Annual food show returns just in time for Thanksgiving.

Turkey Day is right around the corner, and you probably have no clue what you're going to put on the table. But don't get your apron strings in a jumble; a kitchenful of cooking pros has come to the rescue in the form of today's Fabulous Food Show. The action starts in the I-X Center's Main Kitchen Theatre, with demonstrations by such Food Network luminaries as Giada De Laurentiis and Alton Brown. In the nearby Culinary Celebration Theatre, local chefs like Brandt Evans, of Twinsburg's Blue Canyon, will share recipes for their favorite holiday dishes. And on the Taste of the Neighborhood stage, foodies can taste-test dishes from restaurants like Light Bistro, A Touch of Sugar, Empress, and Just Like Mom's.The show is capped off with samplings of 300 different wines and microbrews from around the world, as well as a Chocolate Bar, with crepes, cakes, cookies, and three fountains of flowing gooeyness. "This is dedicated to rediscovering and uncovering some of Cleveland's culinary treasures. Then top it off with some of the nation's top celebrity chefs, " says show director Eric German. "It's a complete culinary experience right here in Cleveland." The Fabulous Food Show is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at the I-X Center, 6200 Riverside Drive. Tickets are $27.50. Call 216-265-3665 or visit www.ixcenter.com.The chefs are as hot as the grub they'll make at the Fabulous Food Show.
