Singer-songwriter (and Poet Laureate of Colorado) John Denver has been dead for 15 years. But in an era where a holographic image of your favorite dead rock star could be performing in your city soon, Denver is being (figuratively) brought back to life for the 17-city tour dubbed “John Denver: A Rocky Mountain High Concert.” Guys from his former band will play all the hits (“Leaving On a Jet Plane,” “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” “Sunshine On My Shoulders,” “Annie’s Song” and “Rocky Mountain High”) while rare videos of Denver on loan from his estate are projected on a big screen behind the band.
