“Sit back and fasten your seatbelts and enjoy this shockumentary,” says hard rocker Alice Cooper in the intro to Super Duper Alice Cooper, a new documentary about his lengthy career and the phenomena that is Alice Cooper, the snake-loving, guillotine-wielding shock rocker who influenced everyone from Gwar to Marilyn Manson. Cooper narrates the film, which begins with Cooper performing at a high-school talent show and commenting that the experience was the “gasoline on the fire” and he was hooked. A pre-recorded Q&A with Cooper follows the 90-minute film. It shows tonight at 7:30 at the Capitol Theatre and at Shaker Cinemas. Tickets are $10. (Niesel)
