KOZMON: PRIMAL TOPOGRAPHY

George Kozmon focuses on the primal, inorganic, and alpine landscape as metaphor in this dynamic series of drawings, paintings, and digital explorations. Widely exhibited and critically acclaimed throughout the US and abroad, award winning internationally collected artist George Kozmon is best known for monumental architectural paintings. Watch his creative process at work in the video documenting the evolution of Cloudscape, the 80ft long painting Kozmon created on-site for Cleveland’s IngenuityFest 2013. Discover what inspires him in the Cleveland Institute of Art’s Alumni Profile series as he talks about art, his career, and CIA’s impact. Exhibit open through May 31, 2016.
