Local independent filmmaker Richard Myers makes some strange movies. First Time Here has been described as "a cautionary apocalyptic fantasy centered around an atomic bomb display at a carnival." and Coronation is even more out there. It's been described as a "surrealistic spectacle." Earlier this year, Myers received the Cleveland Arts Prize Lifetime Achievement Award and the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque will commemorate his big win by showing these two films tonight at 8:30. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
