@cal body 1 no indent:Take a good look at the instruments being used by the Tokyo String Quartet at its concert in Beachwood tonight. Collectively, the Stradivarius cello, viola, and two violins are known as the Paganini Quartet, since all were played by virtuoso violinist and composer Niccol<\#152> Paganini in the early 19th century. The instruments have been on loan to the Tokyo quartet for the past decade. Tonight’s show features selections -- like Beethoven’s Razumovsky -- that help mark the ensemble’s 30th anniversary. The concert is also the group’s last of 2006. In January, it resumes its North American tour with performances in New York, Toronto, and on the West Coast.
Tue., Dec. 5, 8 p.m.
