this summer. Through Labor Day, the zoo is accepting pictures of its animals and plants for its annual photography competition. The grand-prize winner will score a Dodd Camera gift certificate. "The best rule is to keep it simple," advises spokeswoman Jo Clemens. "Get close. Fill the frame with the subject to convey power and size." The judges frown on Photoshop, however. "We don't want anybody to manipulate the photo," says Clemens "This is [about] what you captured during your visit to the zoo."
