For a band whose median age is 19, it's a pleasant surprise that Orlando's There for Tomorrow can compose epic choruses and chunky guitar riffs. And the quartet sets out to prove the point next month, when their self-titled EP hits music-store shelves. "With these new songs, I feel like we've grown as people as well as musicians," says singer-guitarist Maika Maile, who co-founded the band in 2003. "Lyrically and musically, these songs are straight-up, honest, and filled with everything we had to give."The opening act in tonight's show at Peabody's, the band is in the midst of a tour with fellow punk-poppers All Time Low of Maryland, Hit the Lights of Lima, and Valencia of Philadelphia. "It's a big, scary world out there," says Maile. "But if we stay together, we're all gonna be okay." The band takes the stage at 7 tonight at Peabody's Downunder, 2083 East 21st Street. Tickets are $15 at the door and $17 in advance. Call 216-776-9999 or visit www.peabody's.com.
