Red, White and Zoo

When: Thu., July 4, 10 a.m. 2013
The colors that symbolize our national identity can be found everywhere, especially in nature. The Cleveland Metropark's Zoo recognizes that even its animals aren’t excluded and will showcase the patriotic side of its wildlife with a self-guided tour of the Zoo’s most patriotic assembly of animals, like the red kangaroo, white stork and blue poison dart frog. Animal keepers will prepare red, white and blue treats for the primates and bears throughout the day, so just try not to stand too close to the bars of the bear cage if you decide to do your best Captain America impersonation for this year’s holiday celebration.
