Rhymes & Reasons

Here are the ground rules for the monthly Poet's Haven readings in Barberton tonight: You can't wear hoodies with gang colors, and you must keep your poetry profanity-free. "I don't want people spewing vulgarity for the sake of being vulgar, because it has to be material I can publish on the website," says organizer Vertigo Xi'an Xavier. "I obviously don't want anything like 'Ode to Fuck.'" Readings run from 7 to 10 tonight at Lake Anna After Dark, 469 West Lake Avenue in Barberton. Admission is free. Call 330-861-5270 or visit www.forum.poetshaven.com.
