Jake Thomas glibly sums up the type of babe who's willing to compete tonight for the coveted "Sexiest Bull Rider" title at Dirty Cowboys' Ladies' Night. "Any and all," says Thomas, the club's manager. "The drunk one would be the only existing variable." The contest goes down like this: While the gals drink for free until midnight, the dudes try to coax some of them onto the only mechanical bull in a Medina County club. The chick who can prove she's the Pamela Anderson of bull-riding snags the title until next week, when the bar hosts the challenge all over again. Meanwhile, morning-show producer Captain Tony of WGAR-FM 99.5 spins country-rock from 9 to 11 p.m. He may even throw a rock set or two into the mix. Tonight's doings aside, the bar trumpets itself as one of the hardest-core hoedowns, booking country acts like Lawless and the Curtis Brothers on the weekends. But it relaxes the redneck rep one night a week. "Thursday is definitely a different crowd," says Thomas. "It's not just strictly country folk who come in here."
