A Pittsburgh native, half Irish and half Korean comedian Steve Byrne has quickly risen on the comedy scene thanks to the popularity of his own sit-com, Sullivan & Son, in which he plays a lawyer who takes over his parents’ bar. Though he usually plays the comedy club circuit, Byrne has even opened for musical acts such as Kanye West and Mariah Carey. He’s also headlined USO tours in Afghanistan, Iran and Japan. Byrne appears tonight at 7:30 at the Improv and has shows scheduled through Saturday. Tickets are $22 to $39. (Hammond)
