Sneak Peak

When: Tue., Jan. 21 2014
The Cedar Lee Theatre hosts a really cool new feature where Peter Travers — the Rolling Stone magazine film critic who coined the phrase “high-octane” — presents a live-streaming introduction of a hotly anticipated film and then hosts a Q&A with the film’s key talent. Tonight, the new film At Middleton screens, followed by a conversation with director Adam Rogers and stars Vera Farmiga and Andy Garcia. The movie is about two parents who fall in love during the course of a single day while taking their children on a college tour. Probably a much better college-admission flick than last year’s tawdry Admission, with Paul Rudd and Tina Fey. This new series, dubbed the “New York Film Critics’ Series,” is only open to Cleveland Cinemas Marquee members, so become one today. Tickets are about as much as your standard primetime 3D showing — $13.50 — but film buffs shouldn’t miss the opportunity. The festivities begin at 8 p.m. (Allard)
