The FAME Game

When: Thu., Jan. 23 2014
In honor of its two-year anniversary, when the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum Library and Archives opens today at 10 a.m., it will unveil a new archival exhibit featuring materials from its FAME Studios Collection straight outta the legendary Muscle Shoals, Ala., recording studio where Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees such as Duane Allman, Etta James and Otis Redding cut some of their most famous tracks. According to a Rock Hall press release, the collection "spans the years 1961 to 1998 and includes correspondence, photographs, administrative files, appointment books, notes, phone message logs and more." Sounds pretty fricking cool. Admission to the Library and Archives is free. Consult the website for hours. (Niesel)
