The First Lady of Song

The First Lady of Song Ella Fitzgerald recorded the best-ever version of the holiday perennial “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” She’s also the woman whose pipes used to shatter wine glasses in Memorex’s ubiquitous TV commercials back in the day. The Cleveland Play House pays tribute to the jazz giant in Ella, a song-filled bio.
Tuesdays-Fridays, 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 4 & 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m. Starts: March 23. Continues through April 15
