This week’s version of Wade Oval Wednesdays features pOUT, which combines influences from Cleveland’s rock scene with Detroit funk and Puerto Rican thump music — whatever that is — to produce a sound that has garnered praise from local publications since the band formed two years ago. The quartet is playing songs from its yet-to-be-released second album, the follow up to their 2011 debut EP, For Real, so don’t be surprised to hear a slew of tunes that you didn’t see on their SoundCloud page. The band goes on tonight at 6 and admission is free.
