Like the Fray and Rob Thomas, local band View From Everest specializes in SUV-friendly tunes. Most of the songs on its debut CD, Live & Learn, are filled with hooks. And the album's maximum-impact production aims straight at radio's soft heart: adult-alternative. The trio's members — all vets of other area bands — headline a gig at the Hard Rock Café tonight that benefits the Cleveland Foodbank's Harvest for Hunger program. It's the perfect way to spend the night before Thanksgiving.
