why does it seem that people have forgotten about Vallerie Hill from akron ohio she was such a good person
Polk is the comedian for people that think weather doesn't change and think that no other places have weather like Ohio.
Michael Symon is here a couple hours a week now I think since he started "The Chew." Mike Polk is not even close to funny.
I have found the 87.7 signal to be quite strong actually. It works in Akron, Lake Erie vacationland, etc.
WE make the 1 hour drive to THE ROCK AND ROLL CAPITOL OF THE WORLD as often as we can! We love to go to concerts, plays, and sporting events. MOST OF ALL, WE LOVE GOING TO "OUR HOUSE", THE HOUSE OF BLUES, CLEVELAND! THE BEST VENUE IN CLEVELAND, THE BEST STAFF (WE CONSIDER FRIENDS AND FAMILY), THE BEST BANDS, AND THE BEST FANS! YOU SHOULD JOIN US AT "OUR HOUSE", YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOMED WITH OPEN ARMS! SEE YOU THERE!
Lakewood is basically a giant party community with everyone running out to the bars and getting smashed. cops ticket you for the slightest things because they are looking for drunks on the road. if thats your thing then fine, but i prefer things to be more low key than that
Lakewood definitely deserves "Best Suburb." It is diverse, spilling over with culture, and is unique, unlike any other Cleveland cookie cutter suburb.
Now the people are flocking to areas downtown and around there. Crazy how things have started to turn around, I really hope (for Cleveland's sake) that it keeps going. The city needs it.
A couple years ago the closer you got to downtown the meaner(and uglier) the people got...
Guess what...Not anymore!!!!
Absolutely one of the best things about Cleveland would be the people here. I've met a lot of great people in Cleveland!
Allen Cox show stinks now
I live in Lakewood but travel through other suburbs frequently, and I regularly see much more rudeness and discourtesy in places like Westlake, Beachwood, Strongsville, Rocky River - on the roads, in restaurants and stores, etc. - than I see in Lakewood. As an experiment, try driving in these suburbs and see if you get cut off more, let into traffic less or said hi to by a stranger less than in Lakewood. Odds are you will, you will and you won't, respectively.
I have no idea how Ganley made the list! I bought a car from there last year and have had nothing but issues with them ever since. I would NEVER recommend going there! Ganley gets a big thumbs down from me!
Sounds like a lot of jealousy here ,the people of spoken clowns
Guuuh....Pretentious, entitled poseur hipster elitists....
Lived there 5 years and it was more like my own personal episode of COPS...
Loved looking out my apartment window watching the drug busts....
Glad thats over....
You both sound kind of stuck up. Lakewood has a DIVERSE student population and not always the economic, parental support that some of the other suburbs with higher test scores and graduations rates. Try thinking about it in terms of the actual kids in the school district and their success rather then just the numbers they put up.
@mike they might be including St. Ed but still there are FAR better suburbs than Lakewood....
Best suburb: Lakewood. Best schools: Lakewood. People are obviously voting for their local district, which is fine. I don't think anyone in the area really believes Lakewood is the "best" school district.
Did you take into account graduation rates and test scores for best school district? Because that just simply isn't right. There are a handful of other suburban schools which have won more awards, higher test scores, higher graduation rates, ect. Sounds pretty inaccurate.
Where is the 'Best City Living category.' It was there last year.
