Re: “He's Alright: Classic Rocker Eddie Money Talks About his Annual Trip to Town and Why he Hates Kenny Loggins

I just seen the Money Man live last night on Oregon Ohio and I tell you what I freakin loved it dude. I've been watchin this man since as long as i can remember and I'm 43 it was a KICK ASS show i can't wait to see him again. He rocked it at his age it was a better show than many of the younger shows I've seen in my life. Eddie if you ever see this " thank you for all the hits and great memories" love you man, and to Loggins and "lakeerieseagulls"KISS A ASS

Re: “Meet the Band: Night Demon

are you guys seriously so hard up for local bands to cover that you have to cover awful cock rock from california and try to tie in some spurious Cleveland connection? there's plenty of great music in this city that you seem hellbent on ignoring.

Re: “Meet the Band: Tropidelic

I started to follow the band because of how easy it is to move your feet. Police state was a College Party waiting to happen, it had Funk, rap, hip hop, reggae, rock, New Orlean jazz with the horns, yet it was the same band The Energy the band puts out feeds the Fans. As we dance and Sing, Yes Sing everyone knows all the words THey have a Niche in the Market 18 to 30 that those kids explode to. Can't wait to hear the New album. DANCE SING Love them

Re: “Meet the Band: Tropidelic

It was an absolute blast to work with them in studio and their live show is truly an experience you don't want to miss! Tropidelic isn't going down with the ship but rising on high tides!

Re: “14 Bands to Watch in 2016

It's amazing that this is someone's job to research this and they are so incredibly out of touch with Cleveland's music scene. These bands are not the 10 most up and coming Cleveland bands. They just aren't. If this writer attended local shows, they would know. Just because general people, with general interests, will pay to stand around and watch a generally appealing band, doesn't mean it's representational of Cleveland's scene. It's almost offending.

Eddie Money has more talent in his little finger than Kenny has in his whole body.
Rock on Eddie!

Re: “14 Bands to Watch in 2016

This boring ass new Cleveland "alt rock" can take a hike. It reminds me of something that would play in an American eagle store.

Re: “14 Bands to Watch in 2016

I had never heard of any of these artists except for Ray Flannegan and the Authorities and Listen Little Man, which are legit choices. I gave each artist I never heard of at least a 2 song sample and personally thought almost none of it was any good.

I'm really tired of this all-pervasive formulaic indie-rock and indie-folk stuff that is very pop-sensitive, sometimes retro obsessed, and incredibly slick and non-threatening. It lacks any creative edge and doesn't rock. Quite a few of these artists seem to fall into that mold, otherwise I heard some pop-punk and a bit of rather insufferable garage rock.

Surprisingly, I found the one mentioned last (Marcus Alan Ward) to be the only one with some creative edge aside from Ray and Xela.

Re: “14 Bands to Watch in 2016

Where the heck is Brian Lisik and the Unfortunates? I'm sure this must have been an oversight. There is no way, after the album Curtis Interruptedus they aren't on this list.
