And yet my water bill goes up!
Let's just talk about room nights for a second: did they go up in 2016? I have to think they must have. If you dump a ton of rooms into the market, your occupancy RATE is of course going to drop. While it's right to be concerned about the occupancy rate, it's really important to consider whether total room-nights are increasing year over year. It's also important to consider whether events like the World Series and the NBA Finals filled the hotels in spite of extra capacity and whether rates appreciated at those times. The most important thing going forward is whether the hotels downtown will remain profitable at these occupancy rates...and I have yet to see you so any solid reporting on this. It's easy to say they may have overbuilt, but what occupancy rate is profitable in Cleveland??? Anyone opening or renovating a hotel has to have dug into this and come up with their own projections.
The director is correct in saying that the doors do lock. But every one of them can be opened with any object. So the design and years of being kicked on has made it possible for inmates to "have a key " Why did the director not let the media video tape the doors? You know why? Most offices and closets in the jail2 have better locks then j2 cell doors
Or .... "Cleveland Hotel Occupancy Remains Stable Despite Massive Building Boom!" As the article states... a drop of 1.9% is not much different than the ups and downs of the past several years
This movie has nothing in it. It is worse than stupid or sucked. Just couldnt describe it at all.
The outside walls, most guard towers, and outside buildings have been torn down years ago. Only thing remaining is the main administrative area and the east and west cell blocks. Much deteriation has occerred since its closing....
Wow...Johnny Football is more mature than the POTUS.
Sounds great. As a Tremont resident, I am very excited. Fact is, if I'm going out for a nice dinner, I'd pick Dante, Ginko or Farenheit 10 out of 10 times over Press. It wasn't a bad place, but when you have those fantastic restaurants so close, it's hard to compete.
Sounds awesome, will bring our posse for sure once you reopen
Hey, very nice site. I came across this on Google, and I am stoked that I did. I will definitely be coming back here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the table, but am just taking in as much info as I can at the moment. Thanks for sharing.
I worked the Temple Tavern and Ron's, many many good memories!! Harlow....what fun ....
