Re: “Do You Care That Geraldo Rivera is Moving to Cleveland This Summer?

From the look of the accompanying photo looks like there was a spelling error ( BiCoastal) should have read Bi- sexual! LOL

This is also different because Godwin was just an old man and these two were involved in the drug game.

With Lakemans logic, you should be able to get away with all kinds of screw ups just cause they are "no threat".

Lakesman was correct, bentonite is actually healthy, we should get them an award!

Just because something is natural, doesn't mean it's safe for the environment., especially with the huge amount spilled. The chemical impact of drilling mud (the solution that was released) will definitely cause an increase in silt, it will smother and displace macrointertebrates, reduces food to the upper trophic levels, reduces quality of fish spawning areas, reduces the number of fish, suspended solids interfere with fish gills, interferes with the hydrology of wetlands (water levels, circulation, soil saturation, etc.), smother plants and amphibians.

Re: “Rover Pipeline Spills More Than 2 Million Gallons of 'Drilling Fluid' in Ohio Wetlands, One Month After Construction Began

The fluids spilled (including your scary bentonite) are all natural and pose no threat or harm to the environment, other than some white-ish grey-pigment in the water and dust on dry surfaces. The company's other blunders and issues are no different (and even less dramatic) than those of any large commercial, industrial, or even residential project.

I sent and email to Gov. Kasich asking him to intervene and execute a "stop work" order and file a lawsuit against the company for "illegal destruction of our wetlands." For what it's worth.

Re: “Why was RTA Fleet Director Rehired One Week After Resigning?

First of all nobody should be quoting or making references to "internal rumors" as they are just that...rumors.

If one wants to view a rumor as the truth then, Michelle Obama is a man.

This whole article makes no sense. There is no proof backing many of the accusations. Maybe the author of this report is bored and can't find any real news to report on.

Ron Baron is not the only person to ever quit and come back but no one made a deal of them.

Re: “Why is the Cleveland NAACP Supporting the Further Enrichment of a White Billionaire?

Pootie, Cleveland splits those income taxes with Independence. When Gilbert hijacked the practice facility and Cavaliers offices out of Cleveland, he also hijacked 50% of the income taxes out of Cleveland.

Re: “Reward Now Offered for Info about Double Murder at Mr. Cars on E. 185th

"Mister Facebook" was "more important" because his crime became national news and the spotlight was on Cleveland.

Again. For all the wrong reasons.

So everything else, every other major crime...including murder investigations...got put on hold. As a result, the trail has grown cold and it will be harder to catch these dirt-bags. Hell, they didn't even release any descriptions of the stolen vehicles until today, five days after the killings.

But Mister Facebook was Priority One.

Re: “Dan Gilbert Personally Lobbied Cleveland City Council Member Opposed to Q Deal, Opposition Stands Firm as Vote Awaits

Sam Allard's reporting on this heist continues to be FANTASTIC. Other than Roldo Bartimole, there is nobody in town even close. Without those two, nobody would know what's really happening here. It's a disgrace.

Re: “Armond Budish Delivers State of the County, Defends Quicken Loans Arena Deal

Forgot to mention and it has to be noted: Sam Allard's reporting on the arena heist has been consistently fantastic. It is outrageous that the only place to read the facts has been in a small alternative weekly publication. It's *supposed* to be the job of the PD and cleveland.com. Their conspiratorial role in this massive swindle has been a disgrace. It has effectively destroyed their credibility forever.

I cannot stand that guy. What a crooked pathological liar. Compared to Budish, Fitzgerald was Abe Lincoln. Budish is that bad. Seems like all Budish does is give away public money to people that least need it. What's his next political move? He's not stopping in Cuyahoga County, this is a stepping stone to something. The giveaways must have an ulterior motive.

Idiot. Investing in JOB projects is best done downtown. It still has the best access for employers and employees. Investing in SOCIAL projects should go to the neighborhoods where people live.

Also, those projects he listed aren't very good. Especially Dealer Tire. 8-figure tax credits to move a mile down the road and build an airport size parking with a bit of building next to it? Stupid.
