Re: “Spencer Tunick Will Photograph Group of 100 Nude Women in Cleveland During the RNC

Tunick said he wants the project to “energize the city, to heat it up, and this ray of light bringing knowledge and helping maybe to tone down the rhetoric of hate and prejudice against women preceding the convention.” Maybe this dumbass should consider shooting this porn project at the Democrat convention. That's where the real hatred for women resides.

This thing is going down a path that will not end well -- blaming USPS and office confusion for serious missteps is as flimsy as the hungry pooch munching on the homework.

Art empowering women presents a strong environment at such a time that is ripe with conviction. Very encouraging.

Re: “Cleveland City Council to Introduce $15/Hour Minimum Wage Legislation

For the phony elected officials and alleged titans of industry who love to pontificate on assisting those who live paycheck-to-paycheck -- and do next to nothing on the issue.....it's your move.

Yea raise min. Wage and clevelands low cost of living is gonna sky rocket... dumbest shit ever! Keep it how it is, want a higher paying job get a damn skillset! You dont have to go to college, stick at ur job get experience and better yourself... stop relying on the government to help u along the way! I dint go to college, started in sales and now work in the backend of a big corporation making $12 a hour which is enough to raise my 2 toddlers off of. Hard work and dedication

Re: “Cleveland City Council to Introduce $15/Hour Minimum Wage Legislation

If a small company has to pay $15 an hour for non skilled labor then the employees who have degrees and skills will want a proportionate increase as well which would cripple many companies. Our two largest expenses right now are salaries and health insurance. Many companies would put people on part time to save providing benefits. Some companies would have to cut pensions and other perks for their employees.

Re: “Alt-Country Rockers the Heartless Bastards and the Old 97's Share a Blue-Collar Ethos

As the dad of the (then) 8-year-old girl that sang with Rhett that night (it was The New Kid, not Fireflies, but I certainly forgive his memory lapse after a year and a half), this article might be the coolest thing I've ever read. We'll be front and (as close as possible to) center Wednesday night. My early apologies to teachers next Thursday morning.

I can't wait to try this place! I spent my 20's in Chagrin Falls and DInk's was the place for all of us to gather for breakfast or lunch. (We usually didn't make breakfast. LOL!)

If you don't support this, please just get out of the way of progress. This is essential and a complete no brainer.

Re: “Tandul, Tremont's First Indian Restaurant, Is Off To a Great Start

Been here a few times. Food is excellent....if it ever shows up at your table! They need to hire a front of house manager. They are newcomers who don't understand how to run a restaurant. Staff isn't trained. Although owner is a very nice guy, their service is executed miserably. Tandul - a great test of patience.

Thank you for a more accurate article, Josh. The peedee article was disturbing in the way old Tremont was portrayed. A little respect and recognition from the "new kids" would be nice.

Re: “Cleveland City Council to Introduce $15/Hour Minimum Wage Legislation

If you support this than you obviously have not been through a drive through at your local fast food restaurant! You want to pay those fools who can not even get your order right 15 dollars an hour!!! I worked on million dollar aircrafts in the US marine corps and worked 50-60 hour weeks and made less than minimum wage still!

Re: “Cleveland City Council to Introduce $15/Hour Minimum Wage Legislation

This is a joke what about people who grew up and worked hard for a lot less there are several jobs out there that don't pay 15 an hour that u need skills working in the service industry (Burger King Wendy's McDonald's) is not suppose to be a life long job just a launching pad this is just another parcipition trophy that we have been giving out so now the government is going to give in to this and in certain cities u will have mcburger flipper making more than military personal who risk their lives and teachers who have to educate them plus might I add there are several other jobs that don't start at that much an hour like skilled factory jobs that are much more physically demanding

Re: “Cleveland City Council to Introduce $15/Hour Minimum Wage Legislation

Does that mean you will also increase teacher salaries? Because $15 an hour for a burger flipper is more than your education system.

Re: “Bold Food and Drink Delivers the Steakhouse Vibe Without the Sticker Shock

Are you high with this review?
The drinks are expensive and unbelievably watered down, for $12 martini you should at least be able to taste the alcohol. The asian Mahi Mahi lettuce wraps were totally flavorless and tasted like frozen fish. The drinks and wraps were so bad we canceled the rest of our order. Bold is more like a diner than a steak house.

Re: “Cleveland City Council to Introduce $15/Hour Minimum Wage Legislation

Paying people more at the bottom of the economy is good for everyone in the end—most mom & pops already pay above minimum already, and forcing corporations and franchises to pay more will put more money to spend in people's hands, which offsets the hike—studies have shown that higher minimum wages don't kill jobs. For people who get the raises, many are finally able to support themselves and no longer rely on the system—so it saves taxpayers money on food stamps, welfare, and so on. So don't expect everything to close up—because usually its corporate employers who have the money who hate higher wages. Mom & Pop already know they gotta pay good help to stick around.
