This 62-acre facility was once a gravel pit. Visitors to the park today would never know its past, as they enjoy the grassy slopes and wooded nature trail. Active recreation facilities in the form of football and softball fields are located in this park.
Plum Creek Park is one of the best examples of recycling found in Medina County. Formerly the Brunswick Township landfill, this site has been transformed into a scenic park by the park district. Beginning with the original 30-acre landfill site, the park district has added more than 160 additional acres. The 1.5-mile nature trail at Plum Creek offers visitors a chance to enjoy the scenic, mature forest located on this property.

Hubbard Valley Park came into existence as a further benefit of a flood control project on the Chippewa Creek. When the Hubbard Valley Dam was constructed, additional land was purchased to permit the development of a permanent reservoir. This 18-acre lake provides a great spot for family fishing, either from the shore or from your rowboat or canoe.
