With nearly a half-million visitors each year, this may well be the most popular park in the Lorain County Metro Park system. The most notable feature is the Bridgeway Trail, a 3.5-mile, paved all-purpose trail that follows the Black River through its meanderings from Elyria to Lorain, spanning four city jurisdictions altogether.

Bradley Woods Reservation, located in North Olmsted and Westlake, is on a massive formation of Berea sandstone. The stone is easily seen in the old quarry sites located in various areas of the reservation.

Columbia Reservation includes four miles of gravel trails, boardwalks, playground, and picnic area with reservable shelter. The reservation includes a 264-acre wetland mitigation project.

This reservation features 426 acres of mostly wooded landscape, with high cliffs, deep ravines, and three creeks: Sugar Creek, Fish Creek, and the reservation's namesake, the French Creek. With 4.5 miles of forested trails, you're not likely to run out of walking room. A nature center houses a performance space often used by TrueNorth Cultural Arts productions.

Huntington Reservation is located in Bay Village on the shores of Lake Erie. Picnic areas high above the beach offer visitors opportunities to enjoy the striking and ever-changing lake views.
