Red the Steakhouse goes pro

Posted By on Fri, Mar 23, 2007 at 5:13 PM

Look for Beachwood's Red The Steakhouse to make its Playboy debut soon. Beginning April 6, restaurateur Brad Friedlander's contemporary bastion of beef will be on the website's A-List, a monthly Top-10 roundup of cool stuff, as one of the best steakhouses in the country. (The list should show up again in May, in the mag's newsstand edition.) While the list's other occupants are being kept top secret, we've heard they might include high-class joints like Cut (Beverly Hills), Keefer's (Chicago), and Craftsteak (Las Vegas). That would put Red, along with executive chef Jon Bennett and chef du cuisine Peter Vauhty, among a sizzlin' crowd, and deservedly so. Read our review of Red and Cleveland's other top steakhouses here. -- Elaine T. Cicora
