New Sushi in Old Hudson

Posted by on Thu, May 3, 2007 at 11:08 AM

Mr. Teriyaki . . . Indigo Luna . . . Asian-accented restaurants have come and gone inside the small space at 180 W. Streetsboro St. in Hudson’s Acme Plaza. But if anyone has the track record to succeed at selling sushi to suburbanites, it may well be Heinz Yee, second-generation chef-owner of the 30-year-old Mayfield Hts. stalwart Otani Japanese Restaurant. Otani Hudson opens today (May 3) for lunch and dinner. At a mere 70 seats, Yee says the space is too small for hibachi tables, but the sushi bar is well stocked, and the teriyaki grills are all fired up. Lunch hours are 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday; dinner is served from 5 to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 4:30 to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Give ’em a call at 330-656-0012. -- Elaine T. Cicora
