The Plain Dealer names a new editor

Posted by Pete Kotz on Mon, May 14, 2007 at 3:58 PM

The mystery is over. The Plain Dealer has announced its new editor, Susan Goldberg, who will replace the retiring Doug Clifton later this month will be. Goldberg, a Michigan native, held the same job at the San Jose Mercury News. While leading the California paper, she steadied the ship as it went through two different owners and a slew of buyouts/layoffs that slashed its staff and left a whole bunch of reporters pissed. Welcome to Cleveland, Susan. – T.K. Kim
