The American public, in case you haven't noticed, is tired of "news" organizations repeatedly printing articles such as this which attempt to shape public through invective. Where is true political commentary? Where's the REAL reporting on REAL positions on such things a health care, the war, the environment, etc? If Harry S Truman and Abe Lincoln were running, how would they be characterized? Are we voting on height and ears or insight and substance? Self promotion??? Duh. Do you see any other candidates for any office who are not promoting themselves? It's the American way of elections. Unfortunately, your paper is an example of the "American way of reportage."
I can't believe you would publish this mindless attack on one of the few individuals who has consistently and eloquently opposed the tragic war in Iraq, offered detailed and well thought out programs for health care, education, immigration and trade reform - as well as for other major issues, and has defended his positions relentlessly in spite of groundless personal attacks such as this. Do you have some cogent arguments on these issues which differ from the congressman? Perhaps you like your ears more than his? Are you a bit taller? Do you like the sound of your own voice? I don't.
Elizabeth is also the only would-be First Mate in the race not born in the US, and the only one with a tongue stud. (No, that wasn't a creepy reference to Dennis.)
Oh, boo. What is the Cleveland Scene, anyway? Some kind of high school publication put together by horny adolescents? Get real, and get serious. The next President should be Dennis Kucinich. He's the best candidate bar none. America desperately needs a president like him. Start discussing the important issues, not his wife. She's attractive, but so what? So is Laura Bush.
