Since it would appear that parents who never graduated high school are now having problems convincing their kids to graduate, maybe it is time for the state to step in. How about this: You don't graduate high school, you never EVER receive a DIME in public assistance.
If you are currently on public assistance, you have a couple of years to get your GED. If you don't, the pipeline dries up. I would bet the graduation rate across Cleveland would double in no time flat.
