In which the Scene Music Department let a band speak for itself, because they were out late after the Colts-Pats party got out of control. What, you think a bunch of guys that paid to download the new Radiohead don’t dig some gridiron action? Anyhow, it’s some really catchy electro-pop. And they have a song about a seagull.Band:Euros ChildsHometown: Cardiff, Wales
Sounds like: “A good night out!”
Fun fact: “Euros shares his name with the popular and widely used European currency, Euros!”
Playing: 9 p.m. Thursday, November 8 at the Beachland Tavern (15711 Waterloo Ave., 216-383-1183), with David Kilgour and Artificial Sweeteners. Tickets are $10.
Why you need to see them: “The group as a whole is worth coming to see. As Euros’ backing band, they are a fine set of musicians as well. All have toured and played for many years in numerous bands.” -- Euros Childs
