Just when you thought there were no more homeowners to go broke, the mortgage industry up and surprised us by actually foreclosing on 6.7 percent more homes in 2007 than in 2006. We’re pretty sure that figure includes cardboard refrigerator boxes being foreclosed on under the Lorain Avenue Bridge. -- Denise Grollmus
