This Just In: STP play Akron

Posted by Michael Gallucci on Wed, May 28, 2008 at 5:00 PM

STP: reunion type thing.
If you missed Stone Temple Pilots' sold-out show at the State Theatre last week, the grunge-era leftovers are returning to Akron's E.J. Thomas Hall on July 7. Tickets ($48.50 and $58.50) go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday through Tickemaster. Secret Machines open. All of this is assuming, of course, that singer Scott Weiland won't drive his car in a ditch, go on a week-long coke binge, or piss off his bandmates between now and July 7. --Michael Gallucci

Man, that's a lot to assume there, on the Weiland tip. Cross your fingers like 8 times on that list!
