Watch Trailer for New NEO-Made Movie

It probably won't be as all-around ass-kicking as The Avengers, but The Long, Slow Death of a Twenty-Something should appeal to the same target audience, especially since the movie seems to be about them.

The film is a coming-of-age story about a group of twentysomething Ohioans whose first step into adulthood means putting down the comic books, turning off the video games, and getting off of Mom's couch.

Filmmaker Larry Longstreth shot the movie in Cleveland, Akron, Hudson, Stow, and Kent. The executive producer is Mark Ordesky, who had a hand in The Lord of the Rings.

The Long, Slow Death of a Twenty-Something comes out on DVD on October 4. —Michael Gallucci
