Good afternoon, Cleveland. Here's some stuff to read while you wish you were literally doing anything else at this moment.

— Despite some protests, Cleveland City Council approved the Wade/Magnolia area a historic district, meaning constructing new, modern buildings will be tough to do. Of course, you can still build spaceship-like monstrosities on CWRU's campus. (WEWS)

— Medina police used Facebook to help track down a theft suspect. Also, found some cool pics of an ex-girlfriend in a bikini. (Ohio.com)

— ODOT will be closing I-77 between I-480 and I-490 Friday night. Coupled with closures for Avengers filming and innerbelt construction, a simple detour through Geauga County is all that now stands between Parma and downtown Cleveland. (WKYC)

— New Cleveland schools CEO Eric Gordon showed up to a Cleveland City Council meeting and said: Talk to me. No, seriously, talk to me. I'm quite bored. Want to play a Connect Four or something? (Cleveland.com)

Now, go see America tonight.
